My 5 Favorite Free Online Workouts

If you’ve been paying any attention lately, you’ve probably noticed there are tons of workout celebrities who make incredible workout videos that promise to get you lean and shredded. But many of these workout programs require paid subscriptions or cost more money per view than people on a budget (like me) want to spend.

Fortunately, there are equally amazing people who offer free workout videos guaranteed to get your heart pumping and your sweat dripping. Here are my top five favorite free online workouts that I cycle through regularly.

1. POPSUGAR Fitness

If you haven’t tried a POPSUGAR Fitness workout yet, you’re missing out! These workouts are golden and include a ton of variety. They also give variations for each workout, so if you’re not feeling like jumping or if your energy is lower one day than usual, just do the modified versions and you’ll be good to go!

You can find popular POPSUGAR Fitness workouts on YouTube or on the POPSUGAR Fitness website. Whether you like kickboxing or you prefer yoga, you’ll have no problem finding a workout that fits your preferences.

2. Orangetheory

If you love the exhilaration and fast-paced appeal of HIIT workouts, you’ll love Orangetheory at Home. The company posts daily workout videos to its Instagram page for viewers to watch for free. Each workout is approximately 30 minutes, which is the perfect length if you’re busy and don’t have time to squeeze in a 60-minute sweat session.

Since Orangetheory workouts are designed to be completed at home, they don’t require you to have complicated or expensive gym equipment. Instead, you’ll be able to use objects you already have nearby or complete your workouts without any extra equipment at all.

3. Gymshark

Gymshark is a well-known fitness brand, and you can now invite Gymshark trainers into your home (virtually, of course) for free workout training. You’ll just need to download the Gymshark Conditioning app and clear a space in your house for your next-level workouts. Most Gymshark workouts use household objects instead of fitness equipment to help you boost your calorie burn.

4. Free Yoga With FLY LDN

Yoga is skyrocketing in popularity, and it’s easy to see why. It promotes long, lean muscles and doesn’t strain or damage the joints like high-impact exercises tend to do. Also, if you pay attention to the bodies of people who regularly do yoga, you’ll see firsthand how the exercise tends to promote beautiful physiques and impressive strength and coordination.

If you want to jump on the yoga train, try free yoga with FLY LDN (one of the premier yoga studios in London). In-person training at FLY LDN is currently closed, but you can access free 45-minute classes online up to three times daily through Instagram Live.

5. CrossFit

Yes, I’m going to talk about CrossFit workouts, everyone! Love it or hate it, there’s no denying that CrossFit creates some pretty impressive bodies. The problem is that memberships can be expensive and exclusive. But what you may not know is that you can enjoy a variety of free workouts on the CrossFit website.

These workouts are designed for beginners and can give you an idea of what makes CrossFit so great. If you’ve been wondering whether CrossFit is right for you, these free workouts can help you decide if you like the workout techniques or not. Most of the exercises can be done with items you already have in your kitchen (such as milk or water jugs).

So there you have it, my five favorite free online workouts. While I like to try new workouts all the time, I keep finding myself coming back to these five options. They’re fun, they’re effective, and they’re free. What’s not to love?
