  • 1 banana, frozen

Directions:

  1. Combine the oranges, banana, coconut cubes, and water in the base of a high-speed blender.

  2. Process on high for 45 seconds or until the mixture is thoroughly blended. The texture should be thick and creamy.

  3. Serve immediately.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lb chicken breast

  • 3 cups celery, chopped

  • 3 cups carrots, chopped

  • 4 cups chicken broth

  • 8 garlic cloves, minced

  • 5 cups of water

  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

  • ½ Tbsp basil

  • ½ cup onion, chopped

  • Sea salt and Black Pepper, for taste

  • Optional: 1 Jalapeno pepper, sliced, for an extra kick

Instructions:

  1. Put the chicken and some water in a stockpot, cover it and cook on medium heat. The water should cover the chicken. You want to bring it to a boil.

  2. Once the ingredients are boiling, you need to reduce the heat and allow the ingredients to simmer for a minimum of 30 minutes. The chicken should be cooked through. Once cooked, remove from the heat and allow it to cool.

  3. Add the broth to the water and cook on medium heat. If you prefer to use fresh water, you can, 5 cups.

  4. Combine all remaining ingredients, including the chicken, shredded, into the pot. Allow the soup to come to a boil. Then, reduce the heat and allow it to simmer. Keep the soup covered and cook until the vegetables are tender.
