Roasted Herb-Crusted Turkey Breast with Cranberry Orange Glaze


  • 1 bone-in, skin-on turkey breast (approximately 5-6 pounds)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Cranberry Orange Glaze:

  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • Zest and juice of 1 orange
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar


1. Preheat and Prepare

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Rinse the turkey breast and pat it dry with paper towels. Place it on a roasting rack in a roasting pan.

2. Herbaceous Rub

In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, dried rosemary, dried thyme, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture generously over the turkey breast, ensuring it’s evenly coated.

During the last 15-20 minutes of roasting, generously brush the turkey with the Cranberry Orange Glaze. Continue roasting until the turkey is golden brown and cooked through.

6. Let It Rest

Once done, let the turkey rest for 15-20 minutes before carving. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring a moist and flavorful result.
